1. NATURAL ENVIRONMENT
BEESG embraces the need to protect and improve on the images of all environments in which we propose solutions; we recognize a clean, quiet and odour-free system is a prerequisite.
2. WASTE
BEESG creates solutions for Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) to further the development of the integrated approaches envisioned by Governments. Important aspects of our approach include: the installation of commercially proven solutions; assessing the viability of developing an in-vessel composting plant for horticultural waste; reduction of dumping at all landfill sites to the maximum extent possible through separation and diversion of waste materials to overseas destinations.
3. ENERGY
We consider current and projected electricity supply and demand in the context of any Government’s target of reducing electricity consumption by and achieving a reduction in carbon emissions. Our solutions develop an alternate energy supply, helping to offset local generation companies stated need to expand its plant. We always seek rates that recognise the Merit Order of the alternate energy it proposes to generate.
4. WATER
Improper disposal of waste can result in contamination of precious ground water supply. We recognise the importance of careful waste management and we prepare solutions accordingly. Coupled with the predicted impacts of climate change, the potential for zero-emission freshwater generation as provided through our integrated waste-to-energy solution is an important opportunity.
5. SOCIAL-ECONOMIC
Unemployment is rising, some Island’s overall workforce is shrinking, and some local industries remain stagnant. BEESG recognises for its team and for Governments, job creation is a priority, and that recession-driven pressure to balance Government’s budgets means that privatisation can be seen as an attractive way of effecting savings without causing job losses
